A lot went wrong (frost, birds, mildew) for Matt in 2016 so his total production was only 192 bottles. His 2016 Cuvée de L'Hôtel is a mix of all he had left. De-stemmed by hand, 10 days maceration, then into an old barrique for nearly 12 months

Ageing: Eight months in fibreglass and old oak

Sulphur: none added but gained sulphur from the barrel

Soil: Conglomérat d'Ingrandes
