Sourced from 3 hectares of vines aged from 25 to 40 years old, a balancing act between expressing the two terroir, granite is hot and rough, whilst gabbro is richer. Complex, delicious Muscadet.

Winemaking: Hand harvested and selected in the vineyard. Whole-bunch pressing. Vinification with natural yeasts. Temperature control during fermentation, in glass lined underground vats over 8 weeks, with partial malolactic fermentation. Aged on fine lees in the underground tanks for 8 months.

Soil: A rich soil made of eruptive and metamorphic rocks, over a layer of sand, pebbles and clay, on top of granite and gabbro
Yield: 35 hl/ha
Seventh-generation farmers Vincent and Stephane farm around 25 hectares, in and around the medieval ‘Cru’ village of Clisson. Organic conversion began in 2009. They make bright and pretty wines, with a salty vein running throughout. They have recently started experimenting with a few Tuscan amphora and gentle macerations.
