From the North of the Appelation, Pécharmant is considered the top cru of the area. Red soils rich in iron and flint give complexity still with life and energy.
Grape Varieties: 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc ABV: 13.5%
Hand-harvested. Wild yeast maceration gently for 20-30 days. Aged 12 months, half in stainless steel tank and then in old barrels.
Sulphur: None added, 10mg/l total
Soil: Deep white clay with iron, sand and silex (flint)
