Domaine du Petit Oratoire - Lori Haon

Just landed from Lori Haon, the hero we needed in the heat: introducing Koalitre. A crunchy, juicy blend of Grenache and Cinsault from a 5 year old parcel grown on gres in Souvignargues.
Lori planted these vines in the vineyard of his friend Olivier, the same whose older vines are picked for Saturday Night At Souvi and Vivant A Souvi. They have been managed by Lori and his team since, with a focus on biodynamic agriculture as with the rest of the plots back in Valliguieres.
Koalitre is made to the same method Lori practices for nearly all his reds now, whole bunches are topped up with a little direct pressed juice, in concrete tank for a 3 week infusion. Bottled unfiltered, unfined and with zero sulphur.
One for breakfast, arriving at a nimble 10% and in the appropriate litre format, under crown cap to reduce any friction between the fridge and your glass. Available now, whilst the sun shines.
